Middle Peninsula aerospace defense company Fulcrum Concepts LLC celebrated the opening of its new fabrication facility in Newport News with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 15, 2026.

The October/November 2025 issue of Army Aviation Magazine showcased a complement of Fulcrum products in an article where the magazine highlighted the U.S. Army’s Black Hawk Launched Effects innovation.

This milestone partnership reinforces SAS’s position as a key defense player in Greece, Cyprus and the Balkans, facilitating the introduction of cuttng-edge technologies and fostering innovation in unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs) and helicopter modernization programs, across multiple international defence markets.

This weaponization project will make use of Fulcrum’s Black Hawk Configurable Lightweight Armament Wing (CLAW), a 2- to 4-station weapons wing that can be rapidly installed on the UH-60 to expand its mission capabilities.

Fulcrum Concepts, LLC answered the U.S. Army's need for a weapons launcher and developed a jettisonable modular open systems approach with the ability to carry a variety of store combinations, including missiles, rockets, and air-launched effects.

Fulcrum Concepts is pleased to announce that the FAA has approved a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Fulcrum designed hardpoints for the Bell 429 helicopter. The hardpoints increase the Bell 429 aircraft capability by providing mounts for carriage of side-mounted external payloads.
