Doug Jourdan

Retired Army Command Sergeant Major with 20+ years, 14 of which were in the United States Special Operations community as an aircraft armament missile systems repairer, avionics specialist, electrician, and aircraft integration specialist (armament, avionics, sensors, and special mission equipment). Doug’s most notable leadership positions include Armament Platoon Sergeant for both AH-6J “Little Birds” and the MH-60L DAP in the 160th SOAR, company First Sergeant for B co, D co and HHC of the 160th SOAR and culminated as the Command Sergeant Major for 2-17 CAV located at Fort Campbell, KY. Doug has multiple combat rotations to both Afghanistan and Iraq, totaling 48 months spent deployed. While serving, Doug established himself in the SOF community as one of the most knowledgeable technicians on multiple weapons systems including the M-134, M230 and the GAU-19 as well as the tactics and techniques involved with aerial gunnery and airborne FARP operations. Additionally, throughout his career Doug was able to gain extensive knowledge of the armament and electrical systems of numerous rotary wing platforms in both the conventional Army and the Special Operations Community, including the AH-64, OH-58, AH-6, and MH-60L/K. Immediately following retirement in 2012, Doug accepted a position with Fulcrum Concepts LLC as the Field Service Representative for the development and support of the company’s weapon initiatives.
